In 1906 Oacoma celebrated the railroad bridging the Missouri! In 1919 Albert Mueller opened a grocery store in the then bustling cattle town of Oacoma. After World War Two son Alfred and wife Veda Mueller moved the family business to the present site with a small grocery store and ten stool lunch counter famous for baked apple pies and fried hamburgers. Over the years the business continued to grow and enlarge to serve the traveling public from around the state of South Dakota as well as the United States and foreign countries. Now famous for home made pies and the Bison Burger, Al’s Oasis has become a South Dakota Tradition. Relax in the Last Chance Saloon . Shop the many name brand fashions and South Dakota made gifts in the Clothing and Gift Shop. Currently the Supermarket is operated by a family, Buche Foods. Al’s Oasis an I-90 Landmark.

Breakfast is served from 7am to 11am
Breakfast Buffet is Sat. and Sun. from 7am – 2pm
